Plus Fours Routefinder - Worlds First Navigation System

Invented in 1920′s this could be world’s first navigation system. No satellites or digital screens were used in the making of this portable navigation system. Called Plus Fours Routefinder, this little invention was designed to be worn on your wrist, and the “maps” were printed on little wooden rollers which you would turn manually as you drove along.

iWatch, eat your heart out.

For most of us our main exposure to it is through our water supply and through toothpaste and mouthwashes.
Unlike chlorine, which is added to our water for purposes of disinfection, fluoride is added to drinking water for forced medication (to prevent tooth decay). In fact, fluoride is the only chemical added to water for this purpose.

Today, fluoride is routinely added to the water supply of around 10% of the UK population (though this figure is set to rise) and more than 60% of the US population. These figures are in stark contrast to the 98% of Western Europe that has rejected fluoridation on the grounds that it does not work and that it is morally reprehensible to forcibly medicate whole populations of people.
